Invasive Plants – OIFC Webinars

oipc

They’re Baaaack! OIPC’s lunch time webinars are back and some new talks have been added to the lineup!

The OIPC in collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry will be hosting another series of lunch-time webinars based on our Invasive Plants – Best Management Practices documents.

Over the next 4 months we will be hosting webinars which will help you to prepare for the spring field season. Eight webinars will be hosted on selected Wednesdays during the lunch hour and will follow our previous format: a presentation and an open discussion where participants can ask questions to our expert panelists.

Over the coming months we will host 8 more webinars. Each of the webinars listed below will be held on selected Wednesdays from 12:00 – 1:00pm.

We hope that you will join us on some of the following dates:

Dog-strangling Vine – November 19th
Garlic Mustard – December 3rd
Buckthorn – December 17th
Japanese Knotweed – January 7th
Aquatic Plants – January 21st
Wild Parsnip – February 4th
Phragmites – February 18th
Clean Equipment Protocol – March 4th
