Garden Show

This year, the Garden Show will be at the Wellington Town Hall (and adjacent spaces and nearby parking) on June 17th from 10am until 3pm.

The show will feature a judged Flower Show, long-time favorite the Victorian Tea, a Silent Auction, some special Kids’ Activities, and other stuff!

Master Gardeners and some vendors will be present, and in recognition of Canada’s 150th birthday, there will be a photographic exhibit featuring red and white flowers.

Looking Ahead

The PEC Horticultural Society will be hosting the OHA Convention in 2018.

Wellington are looking into creating a Community Garden. Stay tuned for details.

Lise Bois gave a presentation on her ‘Seed Starting Secrets’. The presentation was animated and supported with numerous photo slides and illustrative props, and enjoyed by an enthusiastic and engaged audience.
