If you look out of your window, there not a lot of ‘horticultural’ action visible … but under all that ice and snow, your gardens and yards are busy planning their resurgence. Sponsored and received donations to a value of $345 came with our tree. Thanks to Lockyer’s and Marvin’s Flowers for their $50 donations to go with $130 worth of gardening books, plus two society memberships, and a number of smaller donations.

Sitting patiently on the ‘swap’ table at the October meeting, a mystery plant defied everybody’s attempt to identify it.

It’s a zamioculcas zamiifoliaa – more commonly (for obvious reasons) known as a ZZ plant.
