Society Meeting for February 28

President Lise Bois opened the meeting by welcoming almost 40 members and guests. She reminded everyone about the OHA convention in Kingston on July 27, 28 and 29th of July, 2018.

She also talked about our upcoming seedling sale at the Wellington’s Farmers Market on Saturday, May 19th from 9 till 2, and encouraged everyone to start a few extra seedlings to donate to the sale.

Of course we will have our garden show, The County Blooms, on Saturday, June 16th. We will have an even bigger flower show. Flower show guide will be available by the end of this month, so stay tuned.

We will be having a garden tour on Sunday, June 24th. We now have about 8 gardens to date. We are still looking for a few more gardens, so if you think you would like your garden to be showcased in our tour please let us know. You don’t have to be a member to participate.
